2.Plating procedure

 (1).Degreasing :Material degreasing: Remove oil, dust, oxides and other impurities on the surface of the parts before plating.

 (2).Active Neutralization :Active Neutralization and Rinsing: Removes oxides, alkalis and other residues from the surface of the plated parts left over from degreasing.

 (3).Plating substrate: Nickel is the most commonly used plating substrate, which effectively prevents intermetallic movement and enhances abrasion resistance.

 (4).Water Rinse: Remove the plating solution left in the previous station to avoid mixing with the plating solution in the next station.

 (5).Surface gold plating: Pure gold surface is not easy to form a thin layer of oxides, has a stable contact cathodic resistance, good friction characteristics and resistance to high temperatures. Gold plating is not suitable for the soldering part of SMT. The cost of gold plating is high.

 (6).Tin plating: Excellent corrosion resistance (Tin is easily oxidized, but the oxide layer is very thin and does not grow further, so it can be used as a thin corrosion-resistant layer. The oxidized layer is fragile and easily transferred by contact force and friction.) Good solderability and low cost.

 (7).Connector PIN pin plating method: continuous plating, hanging plating, roll plating or divided into, dip plating (plating comprehensive), brush plating (plating partial), spot plating (plating partial)

 (8).Drying: Drying is the last process in the plating line, i.e., removing the water left on the plated parts.

 (9).Receiving: Checking and receiving materials after plating.
